2 x Teaching Assistants - Grade 3

Year 2 Teaching Assistant Post: 8.30am – 12.30pm – 20 hours per week, Term time only

Year 3/Year 4 Teaching Assistant Post: 8.45am – 12.45pm – 20 hours per week, Term time only

Required to start as soon as possible

Monday to Friday 20 hours per week

Fixed Term to 31/8/2019

Grade 3 (£16,863 -£17,391 pro rata)

The Governors of St Modwen's Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint 2 skilled, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants for Year 2 and Years 3/Year 4.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our school and to work as part of a highly skilled and committed team.

Governors are seeking Teaching Assistants who are -

  • Excellent practitioners, able to make a difference to children's learning,
  • Enthusiastic and able to work under their own initiative,
  • Flexible and adaptable,
  • Creative, imaginative and hardworking,
  • Able to apply a range of strategies to ensure the progress of the children.

    Candidates must have an appropriate English and Mathematics qualification and possess or be willing to work towards a Teaching Assistant qualification or Level 3 relevant equivalent qualification.

    The position is fixed term in the first instance with the potential to become permanent. We are ideally looking for candidates to start as soon as possible in the Spring Term 2019.
