Welcome Back
It has been a joy to welcome the children back to school this week and to see them settle so quickly into their new classes. The start of a new school year always brings a sense of energy and enthusiasm, and we are looking forward to a successful and productive year ahead.
A very warm welcome to all the new children in Nursery and Reception and in some of our classes throughout the school, and to their families who have joined our school community. We are delighted to have you with us and hope you already feel part of our school family.
This term also marks an important milestone for our school as we have officially joined the St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust. We are excited about the opportunities this will bring, both for our staff and our children, through greater collaboration with other schools and the chance to share expertise and best practice across the Trust.
Over the next two weeks, we will be holding our Curriculum Information Sessions. These meetings are an important opportunity for parents to meet their child's new teacher, gain a clear understanding of the curriculum and expectations for the year ahead, and receive key information about routines, learning and how best to support their child at home. There will also be time to ask any questions you may have, so I would strongly encourage all parents to attend.
As the term gets underway, please remember to check the school calendar on our website regularly to keep up to date with important dates, events and activities.
