We would love to share with you what has been happening in school this week. Please read below to find out what each year group has been learning .....
Nursery:
We welcome the nursery class to the newsletter. The first half-term the children were settling in, getting to know the routines of the nursery, and they were beginning to make friends.
This term the children have been learning about Creation and what God has made. We have looked at all the autumn treasures that you have collected with your children and discussed where they came from.
In Maths, the children have been learning the language associated with big and small. Can you look for objects around the house/garden or even at the shops and compare their sizes?

This week Reception have been learning all about bonfire night and remembrance day. Today we joined the rest of the school on the playground for the minute silence and came back into the class to reflect on why we have this special day and why we wear poppies. Well done to our very first outdoor monitors this week for helping the adult to spot risks and to set up the outdoor area for the children. They did a great job reporting back to the class and letting them know about the weather and how to stay safe outside! Each week we will choose different children to be our outdoor monitors.
